For a good clean tasting smoke we have to make sure we flush everything out of the soil for the final 5 days. Although grown organically, we did use a 15-30-15 plant food mix for the last 10 days.
The idea is to flush about 12 gallons of cold water(we used rain water), the 12 gallons represents three times the size gallon pot your plant is in. This was about a 4 gallon pot.
Than you let it drain right out of the bottom.
We use a 1:4 mix of this advanced nutrients final phase. Why? Cause it was kicking around and were experimenting. We only used it in one of the three flushing jugs.
